Welcome to the first Beyond the Diploma Podcast!

In this episode, I interview Brody Lyons, who is a Clinical Research Assistant in Prevention Services at the BC Centre for Disease Control.

He shares his experience in the Biology program at UBC. Tips and advice for incoming students, and explains the importance of volunteering in the context of graduate school. He also outlines the necessary steps to get a research position with little experience. We also dive into study techniques, and briefly the process of applying to medical school in Canada.
